Loyola High School hosts a variety of events throughout the year to bring together the community and those who are interested and invested in our mission. Proceeds from these events benefit our young men at Loyola High School.
Sips, Tips, & Scholarships
Join us for an evening of mixology at the Stanley Kresge Mansion, featuring a cocktail-mixing competition between Two James, The Kiesling, Standby, and other area distilleries.
Tigers Game Day & Auction
Now in its 23rd year, the annual Tigers Game Day and Auction brings together over 800 loyal supporters of Loyola High School. The event starts at Detroit Athletic Club Pavilion with a “ballpark supper”, silent auction, entertainment, and a raffle. After the pre-game festivities, the party heads over to a Detroit Tigers game to enjoy a Friday night ballgame and, after the game, fireworks.
Sunset in the City – September 5, 2019
Join us at our upcoming Sunset in the City event on the rooftop of the renovated, vintage Madison Building on September 5, 2019 to support Loyola High School. The cocktails and strolling supper starts at 6:30 PM.
Included with your ticket is access to an optional, but very exclusive guided walking tour that will provide a behind the scenes look at the Bedrock campus downtown. The tour will start at 4:30 PM and will include stops at the executive floor of the Quicken Loans headquarters, as well as several other key buildings and operations within the Quicken Family of Companies. This is a very unique opportunity to take part in a tour normally reserved for visiting friends of the Bedrock family like Buffett and Madonna. The tour will wrap up just in time to join the rooftop festivities at the Madison building.

Legacy Mass and Brunch: Installation of David Smith – October 6, 2019
A signature fall event held in honor of Loyola’s founding President, Fr. Malcolm Carron, SJ, as well as all of the high school’s past Presidents and supporters. The event is an opportunity for the Loyola community to join together to honor Loyola’s past and future. During this event, we also present our “Magis” award to individuals who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to Loyola over the years.
This year’s Legacy event will be held on Sunday, October 6 at Loyola. Please join us for mass and brunch as we officially install David Smith as Loyola’s sixth president.
