Loyola's basketball team defeated Center Line Prep, 70-40, in the District Semifinals, advancing to the District Finals. In a memorable event slated for October 4th, the Loyola Detroit Bulldogs are set to honor their 2014 State Championship Team during the clash against Fr. Gabriel Richard at UDM, kicking off at 7 PM. This team, noted for their historical 14-0 season, remains the first and only team to secure a state championship in football for the school.
