Loyola High School continues its tradition of excellence as two of its students, Donovin Copeland and Joseph Rinchetti, were honored at the 2025 Detroit Pistons Black Excellence Scholarship Event. The event, held at the Detroit Institute of Arts, recognized Copeland for Visual Artwork and Rinchetti for Spoken Word.
This marks the fifth consecutive year that a Loyola student has been celebrated at the prestigious event, further solidifying the school’s commitment to fostering talent in the arts. The winners were selected from a group of exceptional students and received scholarships in recognition of their outstanding contributions.
