Since the inception of Loyola High School Detroit, we have prayed as one community every morning. We believe that beginning our day rooted in prayer and the lavish love of God sets a holy tone for our days. Faculty, staff, students, parents, and other guests lead morning prayer each day, and we are always interested in diversifying and adding to our team! Leading prayer is a profound and joyful experience, as it allows one to connect with God while guiding others in faith and worship. It is a privilege to bring people together in unity, lifting their hearts and voices in gratitude, supplication, and praise.
The joy of leading prayer comes from:
Spiritual Connection – Speaking to God on behalf of a group deepens one’s faith and relationship with Him.
Encouraging Others – Prayer can uplift and inspire those who are seeking hope, peace, or guidance.
Creating a Sacred Atmosphere – A well-led prayer sets the tone for worship, reflection, and community bonding.
Being a Vessel of God’s Grace – It is humbling to be used by God to express His love and wisdom.
Whether in a small gathering or a large congregation, leading prayer is a beautiful act of service and devotion, filling the heart with joy and purpose. We invite you to volunteer to lead prayer at Loyola High School. Your words of faith and inspiration would be a blessing to our gathering and our community.
