To maximize students' potential for success in their professional lives, Loyola requires all juniors and seniors to participate in the Loyola Work Experience Program (LWEP), the first program of its kind in the metro Detroit area. As an integral part of Loyola’s academic curriculum, LWEP provides students the opportunity to apply personal and professional skills in real-world work environments. At the same time, the program helps students take on a portion of their educational expenses, fostering financial responsibility.
Details of the program include:
The program typically begins the Tuesday after Labor Day and runs until the last day of school, which normally occurs in May.
